Elizabeth Pick

Elizabeth Pick, MA Counselling

Ms. Pick is an individual and couples counsellor, working with adults. She focuses on cultural transition, and specializes in working with international and intercultural couples (including interracial and interfaith pairings). She views therapy as an experience through which you can build on existing strengths as well as develop new tools for approaching old problems. Ms. Pick is also working as the Staff Welfare Officer at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in The Hague, and has worked as a visiting professional in the Victims and Witnesses Unit of the International Criminal Court. Ms. Pick is a Level 1 & 2 trained Gottman Method Couples Counsellor and is currently following a certification track. Ms. Pick received training in Parent-Child Reflective Functioning at the Yale Child Study Center. Previous to her work in mental health, she was a graphic designer and a senior lecturer in design in Dutch post-secondary education.
